This Wheel Clock from Vitra was designed in 1961 by George Nelson. As with all George Nelson clocks the Wheel was designed at a time when everyone wanted to be modern and everything seemed possible after the Festival of Britain. Each a design classic George Nelson Clocks look as modern today as they did when they were initially launched and have been copied many times - a testament to their success. The Wheel Clock is a large wall clock with round tubular 'spokes', hence its name, made from lacquered walnut and aluminium. It was re-introduced by Vitra in 2010. Dimensions: Ø 455mm |
