Hal Ply Wood Chair by Vitra

With HAL, Jasper Morrison has created a reinterpretation of the multifunctional shell chair and a varied chair range with a distinctly contemporary appearance. The shape of HALï¿½s shell ensures plenty of freedom of movement and the slightly flexible plastic makes many different sitting positions possible ï¿½ even sideways and astride the chair. Because of this, HAL facilitates dynamic, ergonomic seating. The selection of bases and shell colours opens up a wide range of choices. HAL can be used in all kinds of environments ï¿½ in the office, as well as in public spaces and in the home. Combining the chair with the matching HAL Table, which was developed at the same time, is also an option.

Hal Ply Wood: non-stackable wooded base in natural oak or dark oak. Seat shell connnection to base in die-cast aluminium powder-coated in die-cast aluminium dim grey.
