For those who want the ultimate in minimalist design, the Franke Downdraft hood is the perfect option. The hood is positioned behind the hob and rises from the worktop at the touch of a button. The Downdraft hood is an extremely attractive feature in any kitchen yet allows for an unobtrusive, subtle kitchen style. The motor for the hood is situated in the cabinet underneath the hob which can be vented through an external way, or set up in recirculatory mode.
