The Vitra Eames House Whale is inspired by the large wooden whale that was part of Charles and Ray Eames’ own collection. A reflection of their love for folk art and objects with character, the original was displayed in the Eames House in California. Vitra’s version is crafted from solid ash and hand-painted, capturing its distinctive black-and-white design. At 70cm long, it makes a striking decorative addition to a shelf, sideboard or table.
